Volunteer Opportunities
Donating your time to NewView Oklahoma can make a huge difference in the life of a person who is blind or visually impaired. We offer a diverse array of volunteer opportunities, from age 12 through 99. And we are always open to new ideas of how you can volunteer your time and talents to helping the mission of NewView Oklahoma. We appreciate our volunteers who choose to serve our clients, staff, and community!
Oklahomans Without Limits (OWL) Camp:
Give a week of your summer to be a youth counselor at our children and youth camp held each July. As the only camp for blind and visually impaired youth in the state, OWL Camp offers a tremendous service and learning opportunity for a youth-oriented church or civic group.
We have three positions available for OWL Camp: College Counselors, High School Buddies, and Middle School Buddies. The applications below include more information on the volunteer positions. Questions can be directed to Michelle Williams, AmeriCorps Program Coordinator at mwilliams@newviewoklahoma.org or at 405-286-9699.
