Volunteer

Make a difference in the life of a person who is blind or vision impaired by volunteering at NewView Oklahoma. We offer a diverse array of meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals from age 12 through retirement age. We appreciate our volunteers who share their time and talents with our clients, staff, and the community!

Drivers
-- You can help our blind and visually impaired clients and employees get to and from vision therapy appointments, community activities and social events offered by NewView Oklahoma.
Readers -- Volunteer to help a blind or visually impaired person by reading mail and important documents, filling out forms, writing letters, and other small projects either in their home or at NewView headquarters.
Vision Rehabilitation Service Center -- Our vision rehabilitation staff needs volunteers to assist clients, provide office and clerical support, and help plan and organize activities and events.
Oklahomans Without Limits (OWL) Camp -- Youth counselors and adult supervisors are needed for our annual week-long youth camp held every July.  As the only camp for blind and visually impaired youth in the state, OWL offers a tremendous service learning opportunity for a youth-oriented church or civic group.

Office Support -- Help our front office staff by answering phones, data entry, filing and various office duties.
