NEWVIEW OKLAHOMA AND LYNN INSTITUTE ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP FOR STUDY OF INSOMNIA IN THE BLIND
Oklahoma City, Okla.(April 20, 2011) – Non-profits Lynn Health Science Institute and NewView Oklahoma- formerly Oklahoma League of the Blind- announced today their partnership in a free clinical trial that will study insomnia in the blind.
The two non-profit organizations will work together to recruit participants in a clinical trial for the visually impaired. The trial is currently enrolling those who are between the ages of 18-75, are completely blind and suffer from insomnia. Qualified participants will receive study-related exams and study medication at no cost.

For NewView Oklahoma, the study offers another opportunity to raise awareness of visually impaired individuals in the community, a goal they strive for through a variety of programs.
